Do you have a contract with God?
It may not be written on paper, but maybe written on your heart. We
tend to make deals in order to not miss out on the good stuff.
In our fallen world, people don’t keep their word, so contracts are
necessary. God is the exception. His new contract was made with us when
Jesus died on the cross.
The sin that separates us from
God’s absolute holiness, was paid in full by Jesus’ death. All we have to do
now is to believe that Christ died for our sins. The good news is we are
covered by His grace and never have to make ‘deals’ with the Lord ever
again.
If you’ve been dealing with God according to some contract, tear it
up. Don’t miss out on the incredible blessings He wants to give you. Trust
Him, live under His grace, and watch Him do amazing things.
Our best contracts pale in contrast with the Father’s perfect covenant.
The old
contract, or covenant, is obsolete. Old, kaput, done, outta here.
