Life
stresses can really get us down. I know, I've been there.
God never leaves us. It may feel like it but it is WE who do the
moving away. We don't listen or want to hear what He might have to
say. It may not be according to our plan.
We are busy. In most cases "too" busy and quite possibly everything
seems out of control. Anger, frustration, it's all there and we truly
can loose control.
Putting this business project together has been one of the most
frustrating experiences of my life AND one of the most exciting. There
were times when I wondered if I could do this ... and no ... by my self I
couldn't. God has indeed provided for my needs, but using His timing
was part of the frustration. I wanted it done a year ago. But
here we are.
I just saw the little quote written above that came from a friend when
she sent me the OMELET RECIPE. I thought
it was worth repeating. Most of the time we do want to grab the wheel. There are lots of insightful writings that are worth noting.
So please check out the page Note-Worthy.
These will be writings from outside sources that are sent to me by
friends who know that I'm collecting them to share.
One of the places I often find myself talking to God is at the
window in my half bathroom off the kitchen. I can put my
elbows on the window sill with chin on folded fingers and
pray. It's also a good time to see the beauty of the back
yard. It's filled with God's creations and some very hard
garden work, which is even more time with the Creator.
